Community support for SARG appreciated

The Committee and volunteers of Sunraysia Animal Rehousing Group (SARG) wish to sincerely thank the following businesses, and members of our community.
Nanjing Night Net

Their commitment enabled our third Paws Along the Murray walk on May 5 to be a wonderful success:

Mildura Rural City Council for provision of an events and festival grant; PETstock Mildura’s Shane Hoiles and his team as gold sponsors; silver sponsors Bronywn Welsh from Mildura Delta Dogs, and Rick and Cathy Pearson at Paws Resort Boarding Kennel and Cattery; bronze sponsors of Mildura Veterinary Hospital and Benetook Veterinary Clinic.

Special thank you to, as a major media sponsor, Sharon Rose, marketing manager of Sunraysia Daily; your assistance in ensuring our event received coverage is very much appreciated.

A heart felt thank you to one of our foster carers, Rhett Burnie, of Win TV, who was our guest MC for the day. Thank you to Matman of 97.9 Sun FM Mildura for his generous ongoing radio support given to SARG. Thank you to Drew and Maddy of Attic Designs our event photographers. Thank you to Deputy Mayor Ali Cupper as our ongoing SARG Ambassador.

Thank you to the following business and community members who donated goods and services or their time: Go- MAD Pty Ltd, Sunraysia Institute of TAFE, Mildura Regional Waste Management Group, Fido and Feline Fare, Club Aquarius, Endota Spa, Bunning’s Mildura, Pizza Cafe, Cinema Deakin, Sunny Kupcakes, Supreme Browbands, Mildura 2nd Scout group, Ziggy’s Cafe, Greg Harrison, MRCC Local Laws Officers and St Johns Ambulance volunteers.

Sincere thanks to our valued SARG volunteers, their friends and families who all helped out on the day and leading up to the event.

Thank you to the volunteers who worked tirelessly on the day to ensure the event went smoothly. A special thank you to our wonderful foster carers who provide loving care and attention to our animals in their own homes. We could not do what we do with out you.

All proceeds will be utilised to fund SARG’s ongoing rescue work with abandoned and homeless animals.

Trudie Chant,
