The well-knownartist plans to focus on his family and released this statement to Groovin theMoo headquarters earlier today:

“Over the years I’ve had the great pleasure ofexperiencing Bunbury – mostly through the lens of the classic Prince of WalesHotel. It’s a beautiful little port on a stretch of WA coastline that holdscountless good memories, whether they be Bussleton, Dunsborough or thatsensational little town called Margaret River and Settler’s Tavern. Thereforeit brings me great displeasure to announce I won’t be playing at Groovin’ theMoo this Saturday. My wife is having a baby and I’ll be by herside. I happily give my life to music but not this time.I’m sosorry to the legends that were looking forward to seeing us, I shall try andmake it up to you. Groovin the Moo is one of the best run festivals; with themost relaxed vibe and friendly atmosphere so you’re in for a great day. Thebands are killer and there’s something special about a super-pro regional musicfestival. I should add, the organisers have been understanding of mypredicament and I’m very grateful. I owe them and you, possibly my secondchild.Thank you for your understanding and apologies for thedisappointment.”

Allday has been tearing up the Australian hip-hop scene withthe recent release of his EP ‘Loners Are Cool’ going straight into the ARIAcharts at #18.

Currently based in Melbourne after moving from his nativehome of Adelaide, this will be Allday’s debut GTM appearance.
